Jewelry, like its wearer, evolves over time. While some pieces remain timeless, others no longer align with your personal style. Fortunately, gold and gemstones retain their value, making it possible to transform existing jewelry into something entirely new.
The process begins with a consultation and evaluation, where we assess your materials—precious metals and gemstones—to understand their quality and potential for redesign. Stones are reviewed for authenticity, and the metal is tested to determine its karat and condition. This initial step helps define the possibilities for your new piece.
Repurposing
Once evaluated, the original piece is carefully disassembled. Stones are unset, and the metal is refined and melted to prepare it for the new design. Some gemstones may require polishing or minor restoration before they can be reused. This step ensures that all materials are ready for their next chapter.
Design & creation
After the evaluation and repurposing steps, I’ll create a personalized sketch or mood board based on your preferences. Once we align on the vision, you’ll receive a digital CAD rendering and a production estimate. From concept to completion, each piece takes approximately 10 to 25 business days, depending on the complexity.
Optional third-party appraisals are also available for insurance purposes.
